Rings of Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun and 3rd in a line of four gas giants. Uranus is known to rotate on its side and is composed of water, methane, and ammonia. Its so bright it can be seen by the naked eye from earth. Uranus has 27 moons and is the third largest and fourth most massive planet in the solar system. Its named after the ancient greek deity of the sky Uranus. It was never recognized as a planet because of its dimness and slow orbit. It was the first planet to be discovered in modern history. The core of uranus is liquid and rock. Uranus also have a system of 11 rings. The trace amount of methane is what gives uranus and its twin Neptune its blue color. Uranus also has a different internal structure. It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, with a minimum temperature of 49 K (−224 °C). Uranus have a complex, layered cloud structure, with water thought to make up the lowest clouds.

Discoverer of uranus

Sir. Friedrich William Herschel was his name. This german astonomer was born in Hanover Germany November 15, 1738.On March 13, 1781, while scanning the skies with a 7-inch reflecting telescope, he observed an unusual object, it presented an extended disk-like shape. Herschel thought he had discovered a comet. He continued his observations, and calculations for months. Herschel's "Comet" was a planet. Different names was suggested, like , Herschel but He wanted to call the new planet "Georgium Star," after George III. This name did not last that long. It was changed to Uranus after the mythological god of the skies.
